The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, on his re-nomination as the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 presidential election.
In a congratulatory message on Saturday, Abba Isa described Shettima’s re-nomination alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as a deserved recognition of his loyalty, competence and outstanding contributions to the success of the Tinubu administration and the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the decision of the APC to retain Shettima on the presidential ticket reflected the confidence reposed in the Vice President’s leadership qualities, commitment to national development and unwavering support for President Tinubu since the administration came into office.
According to him, Shettima has remained a loyal deputy and a dependable partner to the President, discharging his responsibilities with diligence, humility and remarkable dedication while complementing the efforts of the President in driving critical government policies and programmes.
Abba Isa also noted that the Vice President’s vast political experience, grassroots appeal and widespread popularity across Northern Nigeria remain significant assets that will further strengthen President Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general election.
He expressed confidence that the Tinubu-Shettima ticket would continue to enjoy broad support across the country, citing the administration’s achievements in economic reforms, infrastructure development, social investment and inclusive governance.

The presidential aide urged Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu administration, expressing optimism that a second term would consolidate ongoing reforms and accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends to all citizens, particularly vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities.
