The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to the National Coordinator and Founder of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), Hon. Aminu Suleiman, at the organization’s national headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting focused on strategies for strengthening grassroots mobilization and coordinating support groups ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign for the 2027 general election.
Speaking during the visit, Abba Isa commended Suleiman for his unwavering commitment to President Tinubu’s political journey, noting that the TSO has remained one of the President’s most dependable grassroots support structures since 2011.
He recalled the significant role the organization played during the 2023 presidential election and stressed the need to consolidate those achievements as preparations begin for the 2027 campaign.
“I am here to appreciate Hon. Aminu Suleiman for his dedication and commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the years. TSO made remarkable contributions to the success of the President’s election in 2023, and now that we are approaching another election cycle, it is important to strengthen that partnership,” he said.
According to the presidential aide, the Tinubu Support Organization remains one of the few support groups with functional structures across the 774 local government areas, the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, wards and polling units nationwide.
He added that the objectives of the organization align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly its emphasis on inclusion and participation by all segments of society.
Abba Isa also recalled his previous role as the National Director for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the TSO during the 2023 elections, where he coordinated nationwide mobilization of the disability community in support of President Tinubu.
“I remain proud to be part of the TSO family. Today, over 100 registered disability support groups working with our office will be mobilised to collaborate with TSO as we galvanise support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. That is one of the key reasons for this visit,” he stated.
Responding, the National Coordinator and Founder of TSO, Hon. Aminu Suleiman, expressed appreciation for the visit, describing Abba Isa as a dependable ally whose contributions during the 2023 presidential campaign earned him national recognition.
“I am delighted to receive my brother. We have worked together for many years, especially during the 2023 presidential campaign. He performed exceptionally well, and that is why President Tinubu found him worthy of appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities,” Suleiman said.
He also congratulated Abba Isa on his recent appointment as Director for Persons with Disabilities of the City Boy Movement and Renewed Hope Ambassadors, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver on the assignment.
“I know his capacity and I have every confidence that he will succeed. We will continue to work together for Asiwaju.
Our commitment is to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he continues implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda and works towards completing his constitutional two terms in office,” Suleiman added.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to expanding grassroots mobilisation, strengthening collaboration among support groups and ensuring sustained public engagement in support of President Tinubu’s administration and his 2027 re-election bid.
Hon. Aminu Suleiman, popularly known as Jagaban Gwandu, is a former three-term member of the House of Representatives representing Fagge Federal Constituency in Kano State (2011–2023).
He is the Founder and Director-General of the Tinubu Support Organization and currently serves on the Governing Board of the North-West Development Commission.
