Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has urged women-led groups and stakeholders across the country to actively communicate and promote the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Abba Isa made the call at the grand launch of the Business Women of Influence for Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) in Abuja, where he declared that the organisation has become a strategic platform for mobilising women, supporting entrepreneurship and advancing the administration’s development agenda.

Speaking as a special guest of honour before a gathering of political leaders, business executives, women advocates and development partners, the presidential aide said the country was entering a critical phase in its democratic journey, stressing that supporters of the administration must ensure that the impact of government policies and interventions is effectively communicated to Nigerians.
According to him, organisations such as BWI-RHA have a significant role to play in serving as credible voices that can take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to grassroots communities across the country.

“As elections draw nearer, it becomes increasingly important for organisations such as BWI-RHA to continue serving as credible voices in communicating the achievements, successes and positive outcomes of the Renewed Hope Agenda to communities across the country,” he said.

The presidential aide disclosed that President Tinubu is proud of the activities and growing influence of the organisation, noting that its efforts in promoting women entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and advocacy align with the administration’s vision for national development.

“I am pleased to state that Mr. President is proud of the remarkable work being undertaken by the Business Women of Influence for Renewed Hope Agenda,” Abba Isa stated.

He further assured members of the group that he would personally brief the President on their contributions towards advancing economic empowerment, social inclusion and sustainable development.

“I will personally report and communicate your efforts, achievements and contributions towards the realisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Mr. President,” he added.
The presidential aide also emphasised the need for inclusivity, urging the organisation to deliberately create opportunities for women with disabilities, young female entrepreneurs and other marginalised groups.

He maintained that genuine national development can only be achieved when equal opportunities are provided for all citizens, irrespective of gender, disability status or social background.

Abba Isa commended the Convener and Executive Director of BWI-RHA, Dr. Ngozi Oyewole, for providing a platform that recognises and promotes the role of women in economic growth and nation-building.

He noted that women remain critical drivers of Nigeria’s economy through business creation, job generation and community development, adding that initiatives such as BWI-RHA provide essential support systems, mentorship and advocacy opportunities needed to amplify their impact.
The event attracted several prominent political and business figures, including former Kano State First Lady, Hajia Halima Ibrahim Shekarau; the Iyalode of Lagos, Chief Dr. Mrs. Bintu Fatima Tinubu; Chairman of the Governing Board of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Hon. Hamma Ali Kumo; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; APC National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile Idele; Convener of BWI-RHA, Dr. Ngozi Oyewole; a representative of the Minister of Women Affairs; Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Dr. Yakasai; and Dr. Zara, who represented the APC National Chairman.

The launch was widely seen as a major political and economic mobilisation platform aimed at strengthening women’s participation in entrepreneurship, advocacy and support for the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
