SSAP Hon. Abba Isa Condoles with Gov Buni, Yobe People Over Loss of Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Ibn Grema

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has extended his heartfelt condolence to Governor Mai Mala Buni and the people of Yobe State on the passing of Emir of Tikau, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Ibn Grema. 

In a condolence message by his Director Media and Communications, Lanre Oloyede, Hon. Abba Isa expressed deep sadness over the loss while stating that Emir Grema’s  demise will be deeply felt, and his contributions to the community will be remembered for generations to come.

The Senior Special aide to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noted that Emir Mohammed Abubakar Ibn Grema’s leadership and dedication to the welfare of his people were truly remarkable. 

Hon. Abba Isa added that the late monarch was a highly respected leader and a champion for the welfare of his people. 

According to him, his passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, and his legacy will continue to guide and inspire everyone, while his dedication to the betterment of Yobe State and its people will be deeply missed.

While asking the Governor and the People of Yobe State to accept his sincere sympathies during this challenging time, the SSAP prayed that the memories of Emir Mohammed Abubakar Ibn Grema bring comfort and solace to all those who mourn his loss.

“May his legacy of leadership and wisdom continue to inspire generations. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

“May Allah forgive the late Emir his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. May the family and people of Yobe State find the strength to bear this great loss,” the Senior aide to President Tinubu stated.

Recall that the late Emir’s death was announced in a statement by the DG, Press, and Media Affairs to Yobe State Governor, Mamman Mohammed.

According to the statement, Governor Buni described the death of the first-class Emir as a great loss to the Emirate, the state, and the country, “whose wealth of wisdom and experience would be greatly missed.

“He was a peace loving leader, fair and just to all, objective, and committed to the interest of his people and the development of Tikau Emirate,” the governor said.

Governor Buni prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest in Aljannatu firdaus and to grant his family, and the people of the emirate the fortitude to bear the loss.

He extended his personal condolences, that of the government, and the people of the state to his family and the Emirate.
