SSAP Abba Isa Congratulates Mr Ayuba Gufwan on his appointment as Executive Secretary, NCPWD

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has extended his warmest congratulations to Mr. Ayuba Burki Gufwan on his well-deserved appointment as the Executive Secretary, National Commission for People with Disabilities by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mr Gufwan’s appointment was contained in a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity announcing President Tinubu’s appointment of new heads of agencies and programmes under the federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

In a congratulatory statement by his Director Media and Communications, Lanre Oloyede,  Hon. Abba Isa stated that Mr Gufwan’s appointment is a testament to his dedication and expertise in advocating for the rights and empowerment of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). 

The Senior Presidential aide added that his background as the Executive Director of the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre, Jos, makes him an exceptional fit for this role.

“Your extensive experience and legal expertise, underscored by your LLB, position you as an invaluable asset in championing the rights and welfare of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) across Nigeria.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to appoint new heads of agencies and programmes under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, including your esteemed self, is a clear indication of his commitment to the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda. We are confident that under your leadership, the National Commission for People with Disabilities will witness unprecedented growth and development, significantly enhancing the lives of PWD

“As we embark on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, we look forward to working closely with you to touch and transform the lives of PWDs.
