The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has congratulated the Director-General of the Coalition of Yobe APC Political Organizations (COYAPO), Babagana Alhaji Modu (Bature Goniri), MBA, MInsTA, on his Award of Excellence conferred by the 361 APC Support Groups in Yobe State.
Hon. Abba Isa, speaking on behalf of the Coalition of Persons with Disabilities in Yobe State, described the recognition as a testament to Modu’s exemplary leadership, commitment to unity, and outstanding contributions to political coordination and grassroots development across the state.

According to him, the award reflects Modu’s impactful initiatives, including the facilitation of political and permanent appointments, as well as the distribution of essential food items and cash support to vulnerable communities—efforts which have significantly improved the welfare of many residents.
The presidential aide also commended Modu’s dedication to inclusive development, particularly his consistent support for the welfare and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in Yobe State.
Hon. Abba Isa further noted that Babagana Alhaji Modu is a strong advocate and Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose commitment to progressive governance and people-oriented policies continues to deepen grassroots confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC).




He also described Modu as a staunch supporter and trusted ally of the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, praising his unwavering loyalty and strategic role in advancing the Governor’s development vision and political stability across the state.
Hon. Abba Isa concluded that the honour represents the collective appreciation and confidence of the 361 APC Support Groups in Modu’s visionary leadership and sustained service to the people of Yobe State, adding that the award is well deserved in view of his immense contributions to the political and socio-economic development of the state.
