The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has felicitated with the Executive Director of the Inclusive Friends Association (IFA), Mrs. Grace Jerry, on the occasion of her birthday, commending her unwavering commitment to inclusive development in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message, Abba Isa described Mrs. Jerry as a dedicated and principled advocate who has, for over a decade, remained at the forefront of championing the rights and welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across the country.

A statement issued by the Director of Media and Communications to the SSA, Mr. Lanre Oloyede, noted that the presidential aide eulogised Mrs. Jerry as a resilient defender of inclusion whose passion and consistency have translated into tangible impact for vulnerable populations, particularly PWDs.
Hon. Abba Isa highlighted several landmark interventions and policy engagements achieved through sustained collaboration and partnership between the Office of the SSA and the Inclusive Friends Association, founded by Mrs. Jerry, noting that such partnerships have helped advance inclusive governance and social protection.

He further stated that the Presidency, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, recognises and appreciates the selfless and humanitarian services rendered by Mrs. Jerry and IFA in promoting an inclusive society where no one is left behind, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
According to him, the Federal Government, through the Office of the SSA on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, will continue to support and partner with credible and forthright organisations like IFA that are committed to driving inclusive development nationwide.

The presidential aide prayed for Mrs. Jerry’s long life, peace, and prosperity, while wishing her renewed strength and grace to continue making meaningful impacts in the lives of Persons with Disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
