His Royal Highness, Igwe Chidi Ezenwugo (The Obi of Uga Kingdom), has described the death of Pa Simon Soludo, the father of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, as a great loss to the entire kingdom and the people of Anambra State in general.
HRH Ezenwugo noted that the news of the passing of Pa Soludo was received with sadness by the entire community of Uga Kingdom and will be greatly missed.
The Igwe said the standards set by the late Pa Soludo for the great Kingdoms of Isuofia and Uga remain unmatched.
Pa Soludo, who until his demise, was an outstanding Patriarch not only of the Soludo family, but of the entire people of Isuofia and Uga Kingdoms.
He stressed that it is “our sincere prayer that God will grant him eternal rest and give His Excellency and the rest of his family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
