Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, on Monday received the Executive Secretary of National Commision for Persons With Disabilities, NCPWD, Mr James David Lalu, who paid a courtesy visit to him in his office.
The visit came barely a week after the SSA to President paid a similar visit to the Executive Secretary’s office where both engaged in meaningful discussions on how to foster cooperation and mutual synergy for the greater good of the disabilty community in Nigeria.
Hon. Abba Isa, who appreciated Mr Lalu for the visit, took his guest on a tour of his office complex to have a first hand knowledge of the basic needs of the office.
In his remarks, the Executive Secretary NCPWD, Mr James Lalu, expressed worry at the decrepit state of the office.
Lalu assured his host of the Commission’s readiness to
render necessary support to facilitate quick and prompt setting up of the SSA’s office to enable a conducive atmosphere for the discharge of his duty.
