The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Isa Abba, has extended warm felicitations to Dr. Tunji Abayomi, Chairman of the Governing Council, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, on the occasion of his birthday.

Hon. Abba, who was represented by Princess Arise Folashade, Chairman of the Ondo State Agency for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, described Dr. Abayomi as “an extraordinary leader, visionary, and patriot whose life has been devoted to service, knowledge, truth, and justice.”

He noted that the celebrant has distinguished himself as a brilliant legal luminary, a courageous human rights advocate, and a committed educationist whose contributions to Nigeria’s academic and political development remain invaluable.

“Dr. Abayomi has consistently stood by principles, even in times of turbulence. His leadership at Adekunle Ajasin University has been exemplary, ensuring academic excellence and safeguarding the legacy of education as the greatest tool for empowerment,” Abba said.

The presidential aide also praised Dr. Abayomi for his open-mindedness and commitment to fairness, values he said align with the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities across the nation.

The event, which took place in Ondo State, was graced by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, alongside other dignitaries. The celebration was chaired by former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, who commended Dr. Abayomi for his outstanding contributions to national development.

Hon. Abba further prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon the university chairman, wishing him good health, greater wisdom, and more fruitful years in service to humanity.

“On this special day, Nigeria celebrates a man whose life is a shining testimony of resilience, faith, and purpose. May the Almighty grant him strength, joy, and peace of mind as he continues to inspire generations,” Abba added.
