The atmosphere was festive and jubilant on Thursday as Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, received the prestigious Outstanding Leadership Award on his birthday.

The award recognition, presented by the Radio, Television, Theatre, and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), NTA Headquarters Chapter, marked a double celebration for the esteemed public servant during their End-of-Year Day celebration.

The award highlights Hon. Abba Isa’s exceptional contributions to public service, his unwavering humanitarian efforts, and his commitment to fostering inclusion and equality in Nigeria. In his acceptance remarks, the SSA expressed profound gratitude for the honor, underscoring its importance as a reflection of shared values and dedication.

“This award, presented on such a special day, holds immense significance to me,” he remarked. “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to RATTAWU for this incredible recognition and for their unwavering commitment to celebrating individuals who strive to make a difference. Your dedication to promoting excellence, unity, and service in society is truly commendable.”

The Senior Special Assistant also reaffirmed his dedication to advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasizes creating an inclusive society where every Nigerian, especially persons with disabilities, can thrive.

“This recognition is not just for me but for the 31.5 million persons with disabilities in Nigeria whose resilience and potential continue to inspire my work. I proudly dedicate this award to them,” he added.

Coinciding with the award ceremony, Hon. Abba Isa also marked his birthday, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the gift of life. “Celebrating another year of life today, I feel truly grateful and blessed. I thank God for His grace, His love, and His constant presence in my life,” he stated.

The RATTAWU End-of-Year celebration was a befitting occasion to honor the SSA’s contributions, blending recognition with joy as colleagues and stakeholders joined in celebrating his impactful leadership and his special day.
