There was wild celebration Saturday as newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the president on disability matters, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, emerged winner of the 5th edition of the Leadership Excellent Awards 2023.
The awards, which was organized by the famous Igbere TV online media, was set up to honour and appreciate contributions of Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their various spheres of influence to the development of Nigeria.
Hon. Abba Isa beat other top contestants to emerge winner of the prestigious award.
This award adds to the repertoire of several merit awards and honours already received by the SSA to the president.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday appointed Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa as his Senior Special Assistant on Disability Matters.
According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, this is part of the president’s determination to ensure that every segment of society is sufficiently catered to within the ambit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
Dignataries at the event include the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Chairman Senate Committee on Privatization, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Beta Edu, Vice Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Owunari Georgewill among others.
