American University Appoints Renowned Cleric, Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke as Visiting Professor

In a significant recognition of his exceptional leadership and expertise, the American University of Peace and Governance (AUPG) in the United States has announced the appointment of Renowned Cleric and Leadership Development Expert, Dr. Femi Lanre-Oke, as a Visiting Professor. 

This prestigious appointment is a testament to Dr. Lanre-Oke’s impressive record in leadership development, community engagement, and personal growth.

As the Senior Pastor of Jesus Praise Evangelical Ministry International (JPEMI), Dr. Lanre-Oke brings a unique blend of technical expertise, administrative acumen, and community development experience to his new role. 

His impressive educational achievements, beginning with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria has equipped him with a distinctive perspective on leadership and change management.

The Cleric further expanded his academic repertoire with a Master’s degree in Marketing and Sales from Rome Business School, Lagos, and earned a Doctor of Science in ICT from the London Graduate School, in partnership with the Commonwealth University in Dubai. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Organization Development from the South East Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute in the Philippines.

Beyond his academic credentials, Dr. Lanre-Oke’s leadership prowess is further underscored by his various certifications in leadership psychology, emotional intelligence, strategic leadership, and change management.

 In 2022, his contributions to leadership were recognized with the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award, and he was appointed as an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, further solidifying his influence and commitment to ethical leadership.

Through his NGO, Still Waters Foundation, Dr. Lanre-Oke has demonstrated his commitment to leadership development, educational sponsorships, and support for the underprivileged. The foundation has been instrumental in providing educational sponsorships and support for the underprivileged, as well as offering relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a prolific speaker and writer, Dr. Lanre-Oke continues to share his insights on leadership through seminars and international publications. His role as a family man and presiding pastor underscores his commitment to holistic leadership, influencing both his personal and professional spheres.

In addition to his new role at AUPG, Dr. Lanre-Oke is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Leadership and Manpower Development, the Institute of Management Consultants, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and the Computer Professional Council of Nigeria, among others.
